Absolutely brilliant service, Rob was amazing. Our boiler completely broke, so we opted for a new one as the old boiler was quite old and not worth repairing. We were without hot water for a few days so it was quite urgent and Rob came out the same day I contacted him within an hour. He was very polite and made everything seem straightforward. He came to install the new boiler within a couple of days. Cannot say enough good words about the service and Rob!! He installed the new boiler, new pipework outside, also contacted Cadent and got them to secure a gas pipe which was lose outside which we wanted sorting for a while… he even brought in our bins! Boiler repair and service in Hyde. I needed a new thermostat as mine had broke. Rob completed all this no problem. I had 2 radiators removed where I am having some decorating too. Nothing was an issue and great service provided. Would definitely recommend. And will be putting me new radiators on in the future.

Rob has done several jobs for me - big Victorian house in Chorlton. Lots to go wrong. He's great. He knows his stuff. He uses his initiative - he sourced and installed an obsolete part on my old boiler and gave it life for longer than it deserved. He leaves the place clean and tidy. He's reliable and he communicates well - stays in touch and arrives when he says he will. He is also just a really nice guy - funny and friendly. Who knew checking chimney flues and doing boiler replacement was such fun.

Boiler Repair: Stalybridge. Rob did a great job. Turned up on time and identified the boiler issue immediately. Arrived the next day with the needed part and had it fitted in 10 minutes. Really liked the transparent pricing too, took all the stress off.

We had a fault with our central heating system. Rob from Tameside boiler repairs was great, arrived very quickly, diagnosed the problem, checked that the boiler was OK. Replaced a faulty part. Very pleasant to deal with and turned up when agreed.

Update/ Second Review 16th May 2026 No HW Thursday 14th May and my daughter returning home from Tameside Hospital Friday - not a great combination. Rob (boiler repairs Stalybridge) was able to attend on the Friday to troubleshoot and diagnose the fault and part required (heat exchanger).Part ordered and given the circumstances fitted Saturday midday, unsure if Rob normally works weekend but a big thank you for going the extra mile! Rob of Tameside Boilers / Boiler Repair Stalybridge was fortuitously able to respond within 24 hours of my call for help with an ongoing issue with my daughter’s WB 30CDI compact boiler, that a previous engineer had attempted to resolve. Rob attended and diagnosed a number of issues due to his troubleshooting knowledge and typical known boiler faults. He explained his findings eloquently. The boiler required three small parts which he didn’t carry albeit he obtained them from a local trade counter. He was quite happy to present the invoice for the parts to which he added a not unreasonable 10% for time and trouble taken to get them. I cannot recommend him highly enough and he is now our default person for boiler and CH service and repairs.

I’m very happy with this company. They were punctual, friendly, and very thorough when checking my boiler. I really appreciated their honesty — they didn’t try to pressure me into replacing any parts or adding extra costs unnecessarily. The price was exactly as quoted, with no hidden charges. I would definitely use their service again in the future.
